How long can I wear ActiCuf?
One ActiCuf can be used all day; however, it will need to be repositioned every three to four hours. Though rare, instances of skin irritation may occur with prolonged exposure to urine. ActiCuf should not be worn while sleeping.
Can I use a public urinal with ActiCuf?
Absolutely! Because ActiCuf is so discreet, you can take it off and put it back on again quickly and effortlessly – without anyone noticing.
Does ActiCuf hurt to wear?
Most men find ActiCuf comfortable to wear. The plastic tension band feels tight to your fingers but will actually feel quite comfortable when place appropriately. The tension of the plastic band on the ActiCuf is necessary to stop urine leaks during stress incontinence events that occur with coughing, sneezing, lifting, and sports.
Is ActiCuf a good substitute for my current pad?

Will ActiCuf be reimbursed by my insurance?
While Timm Medical Technologies cannot file a claim for you, some private insurance providers and Medicare will reimburse for ActiCuf. The applicable durable medical equipment codes to use are A4356 – External urethral clamp or compression device and A4335 – Incontinence supply, miscellaneous.
